   We are based in North Wales in the UK and source most of our prints in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and France. For 22 years  we have traveled and concentrated on selling a range of prints at garden shows in the USA. We are now resident for much of the year in Philadelphia, although the business keeps its Welsh roots.        ANTIQUES & OTHER PRINTS: No one will ever recreate the exquisite hand coloring of the late eighteenth century, nor the exact techniques of aquatint, nor the deep colors of 19th century chromolithography. If you visit a Gladstone Jones booth at a show, you will find many antique of the antique prints we source and to whose condition and conservation we pay great attention.

     RANGE OF PRINTS: We sell antiques and some newer prints  where the antiques are either extremely expensive or unobtainable. Our subject ranges are: BOTANICAL (including some beautiful antiques, Loudons & Gimpel & Paxton, Wilmot Roses), LARGE HAND COLOURED BOTANICAL (principally Beslers and Baptiste vases), ANIMAL prints (mainly antique), ORCHID prints as a specialty, Victorian Fern prints ... If you want pictures of these click on the samples page....BIRD prints, particularly exotic birds, humming birds and Greene's Parrots, but also some European and American garden birds, GARDEN DESIGN prints, mainly Italian and French gardens, also prints of watercolours of the great Edwardian gardening era in England, some FRUIT & VEGETABLE prints, CHICKENS and domestic animals (antique and less expensive), prints to do with country life which is not quite gardening, but HUNTING, FISHING, HORSE prints, some GOLF and now DOGS, lots of dog prints because everybody -- or lots of people -- seem to love dogs, also CHILDRENS prints, notably Alice in Wonderland and Cecily Mary's Barker's Flower Fairies.

       PRESENTATION: Much of what we sell  is in hand decorated mats which we design with a sensitive eye to the picture. We try to make as many mats as possible STANDARD SIZES.
